Selection criteria

Enterprises (economic activity) as well as organisations (socio-economic activity) must meet all of the following criteria:

The enterprise/organisation is to be situated in the formal sector, meaning that it is registered;
The enterprise/organisation is able and committed to cover part of the project costs (local accommodation, meals and local transport);
The enterprise/organisation or any of its branches or parent company is not involved in any unethical activities such as arm or drugs trade, child labour or human trafficking;
The enterprise/organisation is sensitive to gender equality and social or ecological issues;
At least 50% of the company capital is owned by local or European citizens or organisations (this counts only for companies with economic activities);

They also have to meet at least 1 of the following criteria:

The enterprise/organisation employs at least 5 staff members (management included);
The enterprise/organisation has an annual turnover of at least € 20.000 and of maximum € 350.000;

The request may not have the intention to replace labour force or a manager, not even temporarily.
The application should as well result in:

The improvement of the production and/or products, the quality, efficiency, the management of the organisation as a whole, the infrastructure, etc;
The improvement of the qualifications or skills of the local personnel, their labour conditions and social environment;
The creation of employment opportunities and/or safeguarding of the current jobs;
